players. They tend to use their physicality to threat other teams on set pieces and on long balls.
"I have watched quite a few of their games on television and I have to say that I am particularly impressed by their passion. They are very aggressive in their duels and are not only dangerous on the counterattack or with long
balls; they are also very good in set piece situations," he is quoted as saying in an interview.
The former Schalke goalkeeper knows the Greeks will be hard to breakdown, so he has been practising penalties, in case Fernando Santos’ side manage take the game to penalties.
"I concentrate on the penalty taker and pay attention to which foot reacts the quickest to shoot. I watch videos of all their penalty takers before the game and try to memorise how they shoot,” he added.
The match will be a highly contested encounter as two different styles of football will come up against each other. The Ethniki will try their best to hold Joachim Low’s for a draw till 120 minutes and take the match to penalties.
