Newly appointed Bayern Munich shot-stopper, Manuel Neuer, has been highly praised by the three top goalkeepers from top European outfits. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gianluigi-Buffon-c14833 and Barcelona’s Victor Valdes have all heaped praise on
the fellow goalkeeper.
The trio believes that Neuer is undoubtedly one of the best goalkeepers around, who has done incredibly well for the past couple of seasons. They all reckoned that Bayern could now become a more threatening unit with Neuer in the Bavarian ranks and also
wished the young shot-stopper all the best for his future with the new club.
They all believed that the player had an outstanding 2010/11 season, where he singlehandedly helped his former club to stay up in the Bundesliga after they faced a significant dip in form from the previous 2009/10 campaign. Buffon in particular spoke highly
of the youngster saying that he was desperately unlucky to miss out on the UEFA Champions League final after doing so well throughout the entire campaign.
All the three individuals were confident that Neuer’s inclusion would only strengthen the Bavarians, who could pose a big threat to any top European side in the upcoming season.
Casillas also voiced his opinion regarding the 25-year-old, saying, "One only has to look at what he has achieved this season alone. He has quick reflexes, good positioning and reads the game well. It is normal that the big clubs were keeping an eye on him.
He has a great presence and has a great future ahead of him."
Victor Valdes had similar words for the impressive shot-stopper and praised him for making a name in such a short span of time. He wished Neuer success at every stage and thought that the youngster holds Die Mannschaft’s future in his hands.
Valdes concluded by adding, "He fills a large part of the goal, is agile and is very fast in his movements. He is already amongst the best in the world and he is a great signing for Bayern."
Neuer recently made an 18 Million Euro move to the Bundesliga giants after spending seven decent years with Schalke 04.
