charges now have a perfect winning record in the prestigious European competition, enjoying pole position in Group C.

their dismantling of Zenit St Petersburg.
Reflecting on the situation, Manuel Pellegrini hailed the defensive strength of his charges, whilst also setting a points total target for their group stage adventures.
The Chilean tactician pointed towards Anderlecht, praising them for the stiff competition they posed in front of their home fans. However, he stated that it was the proficient performance by Malaga players both in attack and defence that decided the match.
“I am very happy with what we have done, both in defence and attack,” he stated.
“We were away to a team that took a draw in Milan and played the game with good football. Malaga were mobile in all areas of the field.”
“The defensive strength of the 11 players on the field is based on aggression, and the numbers demonstrate so. Malaga goes out to win every game, especially those away from home.”
Continuing on the topic,  the former Villarreal and Real Madrid manager claimed that Malaga cannot remain content with the current points tally and should be aiming at accumulating at least 10 points to show for their efforts on the continent.
“We have done much, it was very important to ratify what we had done against Zenit. We should not settle for six points though, we need to reach at least 10.”
In addition to their much respected Group C position, Malaga have impressed in La Liga. Los Anchovies are third, behind http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and Atletico Madrid.
