Question:

Many people criticise youngsters today for their drunken behaviour, but what about Princes William & Harry?

Their behaviour, over the past weekend, a twenty four hour drinking binge, was nothing out of the ordinary. They used as their excuse the fact that England had lost the Rugby world cup and they were drowning their sorrows. Are they not just a couple of priveleged, pampered louts, drunken oafs. How many true England rugby fans would have been allowed to do as they had, despite the fact that many of them paid extorniate prices for their tickets. Considering that these two represent the supposedly highest family in the land, can't their behaviour be construed as absolutely disgusting? It is nothing new to hear of one of the other of them rolling, drunk, out of nightclubs weekend after weekend. The anti-monarchists must be laughing up their sleeves at the antics of these two pampered yobs. Regardless of whether you are for or against the royal family and what it stands for, what do you think about these two and the way they behave?

  1. we are all human we should not judge anothers faults when that is worse than what they have done. So what if they choose to makes asses of themselves in public. They know that the whole world will know of their behavior, its not the worse thing they could do. Let me know when something dire happens until then they can be drunken fools in public all they want.

  2. These people can't win.  Prince Charles was criticized (and still is) for being a stuffy bore who has a stick in a certain orafice of his body.  Now his sons go the other way and they're criticized.  Just forgive them and forget them.  People of privilege are seldom good role models as they don't go through the daily trials of work and home as others do.  So I wouldn't worry to much about what they do.

  3. Until you've walked a mile in another man's shoes, you cannot judge his actions.

  4. Unmeasured question

  5. Not my place to judge them.

  6. I don't like the idea of anyone going on a 24 hour binge and getting rolling drunk.  The princes are just typical of so many teens and twenties these days.  I suspect that their father will outlive both of them.

  7. I think they downplay themselves a lot considering the fact that they are royalty.

  8. i think age is irrelevant when it comes to drunken behavior. just look at past celebs that issues with alcohol & still do. i think maybe youngsters are more overt when it comes to this, but they certainly don't hold the torch alone.

  9. Its just like any other famous person that does it. Yeah its a little different cause they are Royalty?. pshhh! ... They arent Royalty everywhere! just think if they came To Hollywood or something lol. THey would end up like Lynsie! Just wait til one of them gets a DUI lol. THen we can all just sit back and laugh. Ya cant really dog them for drinking though... Everyone does it ... I mean seriously... How many of us get Hammered when our favorite football team gets  spanked on a sunday ya know.. Or your Team Looses in the Bottom of the 9th 2 outs bases loaded in the  last game of the World series! THey are human...... When they end up in contact with the police everyone will be on it like any other famous person.

  10. They've  been criticized in the Press for their not-so-smart antics. And The Queen and Prince Charles have been known to give the boys a dressing-down,but since the boys are now grown up,they act like regular blokes of their acquaintance.I hope they will soon mature, which they will, and calm down, too. They are only human and humans are prone to make mistakes.

  11. They are youngsters and they will behave as other youngsters, what do you want, for them to behave different?

  12. It all comes down to this. They are teenage boys. They are expected to get into at least some trouble, and their antics wouldn't have been on the news had they not been famous kids. Leave them alone, they are usually fine upstanding young men. I still think Diana would be proud of them, though if she were still here, she'd probably discipline them. Where was their father during all this? Had he been a halfway decent parent they may have had a better chance. These young boys have a lot of pressure on them, and a lot of people expect them to act perfect all the time. They aren't going to be perfect. Sometimes they will act like young men. And young men frequently get into trouble.
