I feel happy most of the time but I am kind of quiet and have a tendancy to hold back and only open up to close friends.

  1. Try smiling when ever u approach some one. It should not be a strong smile, a light smile will create a first impression that will last...

  2. change your look

    make it fun

    when people start

    to notice

dont hold back just have fun

and try to be yourself while doing it

  3. you could stop being so stuck up u b****

or just try making more jokes around people

    like 1 liners

  4. I would like the opposite to happen to me. My fun and happy side comes out all the time, and I would like my friends and family to see that serious side. I just don't know how to do it :(

  5. So, what's wrong with that?  Sometimes It's nice to be around people who are not perky and bubbly!  No offence to the perky people!  If you are happy, there is no need to change your personality.  If you are worried about how others view you, simply smile a lot.

  6. where a clown saute

  7. Take your clothes off....worked for me, woot

  8. At the risk of sounding new-agey, you have to be the person you want to be.  What people see you as should not be as important as your own sense of self, as long as you're not deluding yourself into being something much different than you really are.  You have to find a balance between "being yourself" and being able to get along with others.

When people offer me insight or advice into my personality, I always try to be receptive to it.  Even if your feelings are hurt, it's worth paying attention, but at the same time, look at the source.  Is the person telling you that you're "too serious", someone who is irresponsible?  Then the advice may not be that valid.

  9. If people think you are serious you most likely are, just stop being serious and open up to people. Maybe stay informed about what is going on around the world or your city and start a conversation bout that. Maybe take a beer to relax and dont try to hard be your self just not serious

  10. I have the exact same problem.  What you need to do is to joke around a bit around your friends and people you just met.  There's nothing wrong with being quiet but you should try at least a little bit to start a conversation with other people at the same time.

I say you should just talk and contribute to a conversation with new people (who you just met) and then you will see that it's not so hard to talk to new people and you will start to feel more comfortable with friends your not as close too.

  11. If you feel happy most of the time then why is it nessecary to show off this fact whenever possible?

In my books, it just means that the genuine times when you reach the upper levels of your happiness will reveal the lighter, clearer side of you.

It's just that often there may be something, or a few things, sitting at the back of your (and my own, i understand what you're talking about, at least with the stoic appearance) mind that are going un-solved, that will prevent you from reaching that mood point.

It doesn't matter how happy we are, we are still vulnerable to the effects of stress.

  12. Well for starters you can take them out to places also have a talk with them. Each day reveal something new and exciting about you that you have never told them. Then let your fun side reveal a little more.

  13. Be serious ...serious is cool. Why go out of your way to change the way people see you? Be yourself -if you loose that you loose everything.
