Question:

Many times, some people from Ethiopia say to me, "you look like my country." Is it just a fluke or could...?

I have Ethiopian in me. Several members of my family (mother a little, aunt, uncle, cousins, nephew) look something/exotic/Ethiopianesque, but I'm not, to my knowledge, Ethiopian and have never been told that we are. Is there a place to find out (DNA testing) what parts of the world your ancestors may have come from?

  1. If you are African American unless your a recent mix it's rare(not impossible) to have Ethiopian in you because slaves didn't come from  East Africa(Ethiopia) But to find out about your ancestors you can go to this site and do your father side or mother side but it is expensive like 300 dollars. they send you a kit then you send a swab from your cheek then they would send you back the result.
