Mapfre Aspar Team rider Barbera said, “We put on a good show last year in Germany so I hope to at least equal that. Both the race in Italy and the test on the following day were very good for us and we have turned the difficult situation we were going through
around.”
The Spanish rider is prepared to race at Germany with his satellite Ducati. It is one of the tracks where scored a top ten position in 2010 MotoGP season.
Barber has arrived at Sachsenring with a positive race weekend at Mugello. After a tenth place start from grid, he was able to score a decent seventh place in Italy. It is one of his best race results after his first home race in Spain where he scored a
sixth place.
The Spaniard was even faster and impressive in the post race test held at Mugello. He stood fourth in the final time sheet of the MotoGP official test and was the top fastest rider in the Ducati league. With an impressive lap time in the post race test,
he is more confident for the German GP.
Barbera further commented, “Now I go to Sachsenring with energy and enthusiasm - we are ready for the next Grand Prix. The track is quite well suited to my riding style and even though it is short is has some fast and flowing corners.”
The Spanish rider likes to race at Sachsenring, Germany. He is hoping to produce a fast pace at the German circuit. The team has pulled back its race package closer to where they started from. They will now run with a race setting which has helped them to
achieve better results with less hassle.
The team hopes to smoothly conduct the German race weekend and as usual keep the pace high to stand amongst the top Ducati riders. Let’s see how they fare this weekend.
