Maple Ridge Night Life?

I have one night in transit on my way to Seattle. I normally stay downtown Vancouver. However, I am thinking about trying Maple Ridge for a change of scenery, and it is only one night. I am hoping it is cheaper, easier to hit the boarder Friday Morning, missing some rush hour traffic.

Any tips on bars to see in Maple Ridge on a Thursday? If not, alternate suggestions?

What border crossing would be best from there?

I think you should stay in Vancouver. Maple Ridge is all industrial land, and farms everywhere. I doubt that you could even find a hotel there.

If you like country music go to Rooters in Pitt Meadows.. awesome bar.

Fastest border crossing from there would be to take the albion ferry across to fort langley and get on the number 1 to either 176st or to 264st
