  1. Its in your head!! Don't worry unless you get flu-like symptoms or the runs. Don't worry. If you feel weird go to the hospital immediately!! They'll give you medication!! I had some of the meats that were from the section 97b and I'm fine the chances of you getting sick are probably very slim. And you didn't eat the lunch meat. You had the chicken but check around on Google and stuff to see if that stuffs ok. If it was packaged in 97b go to the hospital. Just make an appointment with your doctor in case they'll give you a check-up. And it could be psychological. Just don't worry about it too much unless something bad does happen.

  2. You need to contact Maple Leaf asap.

Here's the complete list of products:

It appears to just be the lunch meats, you way want to phone them though, just to be sure.

  3. I read the PDF list and I to consume 3 of the products, none of which were in the first recalls all were pork products, cooked ham, 500 grams of MLF bologna and a 375 gram sliced salami from Shopsy's, the listeria bacteria can host up to 70 days and hysterical illness aside I would not worry, the amount of chicken in the salads is nothing, they have in recent days decided to recall all the product from that plant for precautionary reasons, my package of MLF bologna had the 97B stamp but said Burlington ON, the old Mary Miles factory on Appleby Line.

If your healthy and not pregnant or elderly with a compromised immune system then do not get to worried, but if things change then see your doctor as soon as possible or a walk-in clinic, the hospital emergency ward will seen you home, and why wait for 12 hours there for that, just watch for changes in your system.

I am a former chef and have eaten foods from all over the world were the sanitation systems are far less adequate than here in canada, this was an isolated incident.

  4. I work in a grocery store and we haven't received a recall notice on the cold pasta salads.

    Take care.

  6. My fatherinlaw ate some of the bologna before the recall was announced. It has the code on the package. He has put the package in the freezer. He isn't sick, but he's 88 years old, and we're a little worried.

Can they test the package to see if it's infected? Or do we just watch him for the next 90 days?

n/m the package has the code, but not the correct expiry date. We'll hang on to the package just in case though... the list keeps expanding.

  7. Oh gosh, I had some of that ezee lunch meat on thrusday, friday and saturday, And I just found out it was recalled. I'm 16. Im really scaired..
