Maple trees?

I'm growing a maple tree from a seed. How big should it be before I plant it outside?

Well hypothetically you could plant the seed outside right now to start the tree. This could be done in the flower pot or other container that you are planning to use now. Or you could start the tree inside and transplant it outside when it is about six inches tall.
