The France international has made a very slow start to the new campaign with the reigning French champions and could leave the Mosson for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 come the winter transfer window
Suspended for the next five Ligue 1 encounters for elbowing AS Saint-Etienne midfielder Romain Hamouma during a Ligue 1 encounter, Montpellier Herault captain, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa will be unavailable to give a helping hand to his team as La Paillade struggles
to get out of dire straits.
So far in the 2012/2013 Championnat, the reigning Ligue 1 champions have won just two games and are looking far from the side that captivated everyone’s imagination last season.
And, Yanga-Mbiwa is one of those players from last season who have not made a good start to their title defence at all. His body language suggests that Yanga-Mbiwa’s heart is not at the Mosson anymore.
Italian newspaper, Il Corriere dello Sport now claims that the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 international is one of many targets of Italian Serie A side, AC Milan. Il Diavolo have made the worst possible start to the new Italian campaign and languish in the bottom half of the
table with just seven points to show for their efforts.
Manager, Massimiliano Allegri is under intense pressure to deliver. However, with the current squad, it seems unlikely that the Lombardy giants will challenge the likes of Juventus, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 or even Udinese for the Scudetto this season.
However, the Italian outfit is keen to go on a spending spree in the winter transfer window in order to cut down their losses and to add much needed talent and experience to the squad.
Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa has always been open to a move to Italian Serie A. Although, Montpellier want more than six million euros for the talented defender, the club hierarchy’s stance might change in the coming days.
The Frenchman’s contract is set to expire next June so instead of standing the risk of losing the player for nothing next summer, La Paillade might succumb to the advances of Milan.
La Liga giants, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 are also interested in the Frenchman and a few days ago, Yanga-Mbiwa also admitted to be flattered at being linked with some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
