Materials:

fixed electrodes, reference electrodes, movable electrodes, galvanometer, CuSO4 solution, storage battery, connectors, straight copper wire, plastic pan with graph.. ( now, do you have any idea about this???)

ok,, so Physics class,, topic: electric field and potential

we were asked to have the materials set up in this way:

>place a straight copper wire touching electrode A (located at (-10,0) ~~ imagine a cartesian plane drawn in a plastic pan)

>place a straight copper wire touching electrode B (located at (10,0) )

: A and B are connected to a battery (opposite charges)

>place a coin at (0,0)

>pour CuSO4 carefully, avoiding to touch the upper side of the coin

locating a reference electrode connected to a galvanometer, we should be able to find the lines having equal potentials within the set up by moving a movable electrode connected to the galvanometer.

can somebody predict what will happen?
