Marazion Magic to bag hat trick through the Stadium Bookmakers Maiden Standard Trophy at Nottingham
The Stadium Bookmakers Maiden Standard Trophy at Nottingham over 500 metres flat has attracted a highly versatile and talented line-up for the race on Monday, 4th June. Competing in the £150 contest are Risky Storm, Marazion Magic, Lisnakill Travis,
Star Cash Simon, What A Cowboy and Ice Bound.
One of the most credible entries for the race is Marazion Magic.
Marazion Magic’s seasonal debut was in the Banks’s Bitter Stakes on 5th January at Monmore over 480 metres. The race was won by Brads Cool who timed the track distance in 28.95 seconds and led the track by a length.
Tyrur Denis finished the closest as Marazion Magic ended third after taking 29.05 seconds.
After missing three more races he finally won a Grade A2 480 metres flat on 6th February at Monmore over 480 metres.
He raced through the track distance in 28.73 seconds and led the runner, Sparetherod, by a length. Concluding the race third was California Chunk.
He again missed four more races and then struck the second success of the season.
He won the Grade A2 Tony Woodman Birthday Stakes on 31st March at Monmore over 480 metres by reaching the other end of the wire in 28.59 seconds. Finishing the closest to him was Dynamic Pat.
Coming at terms with the third position was Ardera Spitfire.
On 30th April he won a 480 metres race at Monmore by completing the track distance in 28.97 seconds and led the runner up of the race, Bandicoot Fionn, by just half a length.
After missing the race to a fourth position on 12th May at Monmore, Marazion Magic grabbed both the next races that came his way. He won a Grade A1 480 metres flat on 19th May at Monmore by clocking the track distance in 28.72 seconds.
He took charge of the final two lengths and cornered Bawna Major into the runner up’s position.
His most recent success was in a Grade A1 480 metres flat at Monmore on 26th May. He was the 7/4 favourite winner of the race and settled the time in 28.67 seconds. The runner up, Walkaway Tyson, had to leap through 1 ¾ lengths in order to finish
the closest.
He has the inevitable chances of striking a hat trick today.
