marcel cerdan perhaps one of the toughest fighters ever in the middleweight division in a time when there were alot of greats in the middleweight division late 40s-mid 1950s would destroy an aging tony zale only to go on and get destroyed by jake lamotta the fight most likely would of been better but cerdan dislocated his shoulder early in the fight sadly while traveling by plane for the rematch with lamotta cerdans plane crashed into mountains killing all on board leaving robinson next in line to fight lamotta for the title robinson would win by a cut stoppage cerdan and robinson never fought if they had who would have won remember robinson had trouble with some of the brawlers in his career take note lamotta fulmer bassilio graciano floored him randy turpin robinson usually won the rematches but say its robinsons cerdan fight 1

  1. It would have been a good fight.  Cerdan was a tough customer and in my opinion would have beaten Jake LaMotta in a rematch.  But Sugar Ray Robinson in my opinion was a better overall fighter and would have found a way to win.  Robinson by unanimous decision in a hard fought fight.
