The former Bianconeri head coach has given his vote of confidence for Juventus succeeding in the upcoming season; even though Conte faces a 10-month ban.
There has been a lot of speculation that Juventus would not be the same force without Antonio Conte overlooking the proceedings of the match. Conte had allegations against him indicting him in the Scommessopoli controversy, and even though he was cleared
of participating in sporting fraud, the federal prosecutor still levied charges against him.
The alleged charges were that of failing to notify sporting authorities about the fixing of matches in Serie B. He was indicted of this due to his time at AC Siena. Angelo Alessio was also charged with the same allegation. Conte was given a ban of 10 months,
whereas Alessio has been banned for eight months.
The former Azzurri national team head coach went on to state that he was unable to gauge the exact impact Conte’s absence would have on the team. He was talking to Tuttosport and during his interview with the tabloid magazine, he remarked on what he felt
were the key components of succeeding on the field of play and he mentioned:
“The real work is done in the week during training, but it then depends how much a Coach is able to transmit from the sidelines and he’s one of the most emotive.”
Despite rumours suggesting that Juve will not be the same without Conte , the Turin giants are still considered to be the favourites to lift the Scudetto by the end of the season.
Lippi further commented on the signings that the club has made and further went on to state:
“I’d love to Coach http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sebastian-Giovinco-c32724,” Lippi said of the summer recruit from Parma. “He’s a genius and, in my opinion, he is Juventus’ best summer signing. Andrea Pirlo will repeat his past season because these types of players do not age. As for Arturo
Vidal, he reminds me of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Edgar-c11882 Davids.”
Juventus have been busy in the transfer window and have made sure that they reinforce their squad before the start of the 2012-13 season.
