Marcello Lippi tags A.C Milan and Napoli as favourites for the Scudetto: Serie A news
Italian World Cup winning manager, Marcello Lippi, believes A.C Milan and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 are favourites to win the 2011/12 Serie A season.
The new season will start on August 28th, 2011 and according to Lippi, it will be one of the best campaigns in many years. The former Inter Milan boss believes that Milan and Napoli hold advantage over other teams because
they have the same bosses as last season, while other top teams have appointed new managers before the season.
The 63-year-old believes that the title race will be between five or six teams in the upcoming season rather than two or three teams it used to be in the past. The former Cesena manager is looking forward to see Juventus and A.S
Roma in the upcoming season and added that both teams have brought in some really interesting players in the squad.

Milan won their first Scudetto in seven years in the 2010/11 season and Lippi believes that their squad is too good to defend their crown. The former Italian manager also hailed Massimiliano Allegri and believes that he has done

He also went onto praise the Azzurri manager, Walter Mazzarri, and believes that his experience has lifted the club to qualify for the UEFA Champions League after 21 years. Napoli finished third in the Serie A last season and Lippi
