Sporting land Boeck from Maritimo
Marcelo Boeck has become http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Internacional-c39573 and later for their first team after he moved up the ranks.
He played for the Reds for over two years and accumulated 31 appearances but his stint was cut short, when Maritimo parted with €400,000 to obtain the services of the 26-year-old.
After faithfully guarding the net for Os Verde-Rubros, he now embarks on a new challenge at Estadio Jose Alvalade with the Lions.
Boeck has never been capped by the Brazil national team at any level.
Valente moves to Academica
Academica have officially announced the signing of Diogo Valente from Sporting Braga on their club website.
Valente was on loan to Estádio Cidade de Coimbra from Braga and he put in glittering performances for the Coimbra outfit and which convinced them to purchase his talents on a permanent basis.
The winger was also keen on the stay and was delighted after the two clubs negotiated his transfer.
"It's a pleasure to be back. Since the first time that I showed interest in returning. I am treated very well in a club that has a great story and hopefully give joy to the fans. I want to help the Academy, as I did last season.”
The 26-year-old was ecstatic at the prospect of playing in front of the Academica fans and reiterated his appreciation of them.
“I hope we continue to support as they have done so far. We will do our best to give them joy. We will do everything for it,” he was quoted as saying.
Valente started his career with the youth ranks of Boa Vista and moved up the pecking order to play with the first team. Initially he was loaned to Grupo Desportivo de Chaves to gain match experience but after his return became involved with the first team
setup.
He played for Boa Vista 45 times, bagging 6 goals before moving to Portuguese giants Porto in 2006.
He only featured once for the Dragons and mainly spent his time on loan to other clubs, so he signed with Braga in 2009. Valente was then loaned to A Briosa, where he made his move permanent.
