Question

This is probably a stupid question but how does the walk actually work, as far as funding goes. Do you pay to walk or do you go out and get sponsers, are sponsers provided? I was thinking about joining a team here locally but I dont have the slightest idea of how it works...Thanks

You get people to sponsor you -- they "pledge" an amount, usually a flat amount (like $10, $20, etc.,) and you collect it when the walk is over.  Some organizations require you to collect the monies beforehand.  Read the print on the registration form for the walk.  They usually have the info there...
