Marchisio has developed himself into a formidable force to be reckoned with and is one of the top Italian midfielders at this moment in time. He is an extremely important cog in the plans of the Turin giants, and is indispensible to the cause of the head
coach of the Old Lady, Antonio Conte. He was talking to the press regarding his friendship with the iconic AS Roma legend, Daniele De Rossi, while also reflecting on the situation the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 player finds himself in at the Giallorossi outfit.
The European championships that took place in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniele-De-Rossi-c10112 played regularly alongside each other, and Marchisio concedes that it is a friendship borne out of
international competitions and international friendlies. The two players do not have the same role for the national outfit, with De Rossi playing as a defensive midfielder and a sweeper in front of the defence at times; whereas Marchisio operated more in the
offensive part of the field.
While remarking on the similarities between the two players, Marchisio went on to reflect that he and the iconic Giallorossi star had much in common. He reflected on their youth training and the fact that both of them came from the youth teams of the team
that they are playing in now. Furthermore, he reflected that the versatile player was a great friend along with being a great footballer.
Marchisio leapt to the defence of his friend and stated that De Rossi is an integral part of the club, and mentioned:
“De Rossi and I have so much in common. We came through the youth ranks at the team we supported. He is a true friend that has been built through the national team. Daniele should be the focus of the project at Roma. He is the image of the club, along with
Totti.”
De Rossi is currently having problems with Zdenek Zeman , regarding his positioning in the team.
