The Juventus midfielder has gone on to state his team’s priorities for the upcoming season; and also shed light on the situation at their bitter rivals, AC Milan.
The former Empoli midfielder went on to state that the experience he garnered from the Old Lady and the Italian team in the previous season was invaluable. Juventus had a historic run on course to their Championship victory in
the Serie A.
Marchisio went on to comment that the experience the team had from their Italian Cup Final and the European Championship was invaluable, he also remarked:
“I’m going into the new campaign having won the title and having played in two Finals – those for the Coppa Italia and the European Championship.”
The midfielder went on to discuss that the next step for the Italian Champions is to be vigilant in the transfer window and look for players with quality to be incorporated into the team. He acknowledged that the players that have
come into the Juve squad are players of high quality.
Diverting his attention from the plight of Juve, Marchisio went on to comment on the state of affairs at AC Milan. The midfielder was quizzed whether it was true that the Serie A had lost its attraction and financial muscle. He
was quick to suggest that the league is not to be blamed and it were Milan’s own shortcomings which led to sales of their prized assets.
