  1. I agree with Maurice's answer and you can add Young Stribling, Bob Satterfield, Bob Fitzsimmons, Ezzard Charles, Roberto Duran, and Thomas Hearns to that list.

  2. Does Jack Dempsey count?  Was right around Marciano's weight.

If not, I'll go with Archie Moore.  Dunno why people forget about him when talking about all timers.

  3. I think it's gonna be pacman... number one pound for pound if you're asking under 185 but it depends on the category.

  4. SPINKX  had a right hand with serious power.it may be as powerful as bob fosters left hook and even more powerful than Archie's array of knockout punches

  5. marvin hagler my personal opinion

  6. its hard.

pound 4 pound if all was the same size.... hagler

    1st  haglar

2nd tommy the hit man  /  duran hand of stone

3rd  naz haamed that one punch ko

man who khows... tyzu manny jones tito..

weight wise moore was small 185 probley was..

elam is right moore  look at the % rate of knock outs....

  7. Marvin Hagler for sure

  8. no one comes close !!!

  9. if these guys had a basic knowledge of boxing they would say lazlo papp (even hagler said for him he was one of his idols and he wanted to kock out a taurus with a punch like papp was rumored he did) but oh well in this american blog i do not expect yall even know who lazlo papp is

  10. You must at least consider Bob Fitzsimmons as potentially one of them. His weight as a heavyweight champion was only 172lbs. He won title from Corbett KO-14. 1897.Titles in Middleweight, Lght. HVY. and Heavyweight. Those acheivements put him in a Super Champion Category. He boxed pro for 33 yrs. I hope that leaves no doubt about the Corbett-Joe Louis question!  Ezzard Charles should also be considered his weight 178 1o 182. A lot of the fighters mentioned here fought at weights over 185.These 2 did not and became Heavyweight Champions at 172Fitz  178Charles

  11. Pound for pound

Hearns at 147 was hard to beat for pure punching power.

Carlos Zarate at bantamweight was pretty great too. He had about 49 Ko's in 50 fights.

  12. hagler

  13. Since I don't think anyone in this forum has been hit by any of these boxers its hard to say.  For his size though Tommy Hearns always seemed to hit really hard.

  14. If you mean harest puncher for pure power under 185, i'd say Bob Foster.

If you are asking who's the hardest hitter under the heavyweights the answer has to be Julian Jackson.

  15. Hagler

    love the pic btw

  16. bob foster

    carlos zarate

    archie moore (dropped marciano)

jimmy wilde ("the ghost with the hammer in his hand" would have been a three division champ if the straw weight and light flyweight divisions existed in his time)

    julian jackson

    stanley ketchell
