The former AC Milan star wants to end his goal-scoring drought at Juventus Stadium and aims to play a big role in the club’s Scudetto triumph
On-loan Juventus striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Borriello-c23672, is confident of extending his stay with the Turin giants for at least one more season.
Borriello joined Antonio Conte’s side on-loan from AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 in the January transfer window. The striker has featured in eight matches in all competitions for the Old Lady, but he is yet to open his goal-scoring tally. The Italian
is confident of ending his goal drought, and wants to help the club in winning the trophy.
While talking to the reporters, Borriello enthused:
“I expect to score too. But right now the important thing is that Juve will win, then if I score goals or not it is not a problem. I’ve not lost confidence, I’m an alert and ambitious player and I fully share the club’s ambitions.”
“First of all I want to end this year on a high and even if I don’t score it’s not a problem, all that matters is that Juve win. Then I hope to start next year and conduct pre-season along with the rest of the group. And the goals
will come. I’ve always scored them, and will so at Juventus.”
The former AC Milan striker was discarded from Luis Enrique’s Roma plans, consequently, forcing him to join the Lady Killers. Juve have the option to sign the striker on permanent basis, however, it remains unclear whether they
exercise that option.
Despite a highly successful season, the Old Lady have struggled to find the back of net on regular basis. And with UEFA Champions League return guaranteed for next season, Juve are definitely looking to revamp their attacking department.
The Old Lady are looking to sign a world class striker to ease their goal-scoring woes.

former Cagliari man has also not lived up to the expectations of the club.
