The FC Kaiserslautern manager might not be replaced even if the Red Devils lose to Stuttgart this weekend.
Marco Kurz is under immense pressure to perform as Kaiserslautern are currently at the bottom of the table and winless in the past 14 games. They will next travel to Mercedes-Benz-Arena where they’ll meet http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfB-Stuttgart-c40879 on Friday,
March 9.
Kaiserslautern chairman, Stefan k***z, confirmed that Kurz will not be relieved of his duties even if Die Roten Teufel lose to Stuttgart. He admitted that the club are going through a lean phase at the moment and the management
is trying hard to get things back on track sooner rather than later.
While talking to the sports website, Sportinglife.com, k***z further added:
"I don't expect there to be any such decision this weekend. We are trying, behind the scenes, to get everything out of the team so that we can turn the corner and you must enable us, as a club, to make a decision away from the
emotions of a matchday."
On the other hand, the Chairman mentioned that he has no regrets at extending Kurz’s contract at the Fritz-Walter-Stadion. He insisted that people rated him highly when he took over the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 but recent results have changed their
opinion. He stressed that the club will not be influenced by the media and will judge the situation when the time comes.
k***z believes that the 42-year-old is capable of writing off his critics and hopes to see his side coming out with all three points against The Swabians.
"He was being hailed as the next Jurgen Klopp [boss of reigning Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund] and only eight months later, he is apparently the biggest loser. We cannot allow ourselves to be influenced by these things.
I don't need to explain the situation to Marco Kurz,” the Chairman concluded.
Kaiserslautern are currently 18th in the league standings and fresh from a 0-0 draw at home to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881. A win over Stuttgart could push them up to the 16th spot but a loss will keep them at the bottom
of the standings.
