Question:

Marco Melandri getting the sack?

The Bulgarian guys on Eurosport (I don't trust them and I practically hate them... but that's another story) said that Melandri has to improve his riding or else he'll get the sack?! How trustful is this rumor and do you think it would be smart move for the Ducati team to replace Marco?

  1. I never really trust those rumours. I think it's just their way of giving Melandri a swift kick up the butt.

  2. Nothing muted at the moment.

  3. Hey Anik

Bear in mind that the Eurosport guys are being paid to talk, then take what they say with a pinch of salt!

That said - Melandri might be feeling under pressure to pull something out of the bag soon, or start packing his bags

p.s. good advert, I've never seen it before.

  4. To be honest, I think there might be a far bit of truth in them stories.

Marco is have a shocking year. Today was just a joke a for him, but to be far, it was a tech problem. Casey had a bad one too.

As long as there are no date crash's, Ducati Corse could replace Marco with Troy Bayliss at any time.

Troy could jump on that bike and smoke them. We know he can, look at the last race in 06 !

  5. Yeah,I heard that too.I don't think that the analisers would say sth like that for no reason, but I also doubt about how trustful their source is.

On one hand it is just the beginning of the season and it seems too early to me for Ducati to have taken such a decision. But on the other hand his performance is far from satisfying.Stoner also   isn't  in his best shape right now or if it's not that, then there must really be sth wrong with tech.

I think that the first race of the season speaks for this theme

    1.Casey Stoner

    ............................

    11.Marco Melandri

  6. Love the commercial. I think Marco is safe until the end of the season. then I would assume that Ducati will replace him. he just doesn't gel with the bike. he says he cant feel the back end under braking when the bike is leaned over. If they cant sort this problem out. and I would have thought it would have been done by now. Ducati will replace him with someone who can ride similar to Stoner.
