Marco Paddy will help Chicago White Sox tab international talent - MLB News
The Chicago White Sox are certainly going in the right direction as they have just chosen a well prepared person on tabbing international talent especially from South American countries like Venezuela, Peru and Colombia.
The White Sox management brought in Paddy’s long experience of international scouting and hired him as special assistant to the general manager on international operations. He will oversee and assist all the international assignments to GM regarding equipping
the White Sox with best available players from the global market of talented players.
These players sometimes cost little to a certain franchise as their agents do not know the actual inside environment of Major League Baseball. Sometimes time matters and sometimes the desperation of those players play a very essential part in negotiating
salaries and contract lengths.
Marco Paddy knows where to hit hard as he has relatively vast experience on international scouting and now has a chance to play an active role for the Chicago White Sox to provide them some more players from international arena. Though, his experience in
the Minor League has a huge impact on his professional career in baseball scouting but on the whole, it is the Minor League’s toughness and competitiveness establishing a full groomed player, which now will help him putting his strategy into practice more
likely in the near future.
On a different perspective of the White Sox and their drive to bring some new globally enriched talent, will play a huge part for their franchise. They not only have planned long, but they also have a very good method to implement it with an experienced
individual, who possesses many qualities with respect to his job that will be eventually going to help the White Sox in a big way.
Paddy will be assisting the GM on international matters more likely to recommend him what he likes about any particular player. Before coming into the White Sox franchise, Paddy’s work has been recognised with great admiration especially his international
duties.
He worked with the Toronto Blue Jays for five seasons and made a trend of giving chance to international players on regular basis in those five years to play in the MLB with a well reputed franchise in North America.
The credit to bring pitcher Henderson Alvarez, infielder Adeiny Hechavarria, pitcher Roberto Osuna, Antonio Osuna and catcher Carlos Perez into the Blue Jays’ roster is on Marco Paddy. All these players belong to Latin American countries and are now playing
well in the MLB.
Paddy, who is famous for his Latin America operations with the Blue Jays, has once reigned as the only official from the MLB, who was recognised in the South America with a clear objective of the Latin players’ well being.
