the player, beating competition from Bayern Munich and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786.
The striker reckons that the move will give him an opportunity to play in the UEFA Champions League every year and will also give him a chance to win trophies. He believes that the Black Yellows are consistent, and are almost certain
to once again qualify for Europe at the end of this term. Reus added that playing for Dortmund will also improve his chances of representing his country in the European Championships this year.
While talking to reporters, the 22-year-old further stated:
"There I see a better chance to play internationally. Dortmund are the best club for me."
On the other hand, the former Rot Weiss Ahlen star reserved praise for the Borussia-Park outfit. He mentioned that Gladbach have been terrific this season, and vowed to lead them into the next year’s European competition.
He admitted that he holds great affection for his current club, and credited the officials for his recent development. Reus has been in ominous form this season, and has already bagged 10 goals and four assists from 14 league appearances.
As a result, the Foals are fourth in the league table with 33 points from 17 games, four adrift of the current leaders, Bayern Munich.
"We are a great bunch, blend together very well and will play a good second half of the season. I have learned a lot a lot in my three years at Gladbach and developed a feeling for what is best for me. I owe the club a lot,” he
concluded.
Reus will return to action on Friday, January 20, when the Foals take on Jupp Heynckes’ Bavarian giants. Gladbach would hope that Reus carries on his good run of form before parting ways with the club at the end of this campaign.
