The Borussia Monchengladbach striker backs his teammate’s decision to sign for the Bavarian giants at the end of this season.
Borussia Monchengladbach striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marco-Reus-c23733, reckons that he would definitely understand if his teammate decides to join the Munich giants at the end of the ongoing campaign. Dante had previously expressed his desire to play for
a high-profile club such as Bayern Munich in order to challenge for trophies.
If reports are to be believed, Bayern have also agreed to pay the 4.7 million Euro buy-out clause for the Brazilian. The Munich based outfit has been facing problems in the heart of defence in the absence of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Van-Buyten-c10095 as
Jerome Boateng has not been in the best of forms this season.
Dante’s Gladbach teammate, Marco Reus, has admitted that the Brazilian will make the right decision if he decides to leave in the summer. He insisted that the defender deserves to play for one of the top clubs in order to win silverware
and improve his chances of representing his country.
Reus himself had an option to join Bayern but decided against his transfer. The attacker, instead, agreed a five-year deal with the reigning German champions, Borussia Dortmund. Reus is currently plying his trade with The Foals
and will start his official Dortmund journey from next season onwards.
While talking to a local publication, Sport-Bild, the 22-year-old attacker further added:
"Dante knows he is at an age when he can sign his last big contract. He is 28. He is determined to play at a top club in the Champions League. I can understand what he's thinking."
Dante also aims to play in the UEFA Champions League with Bayern which is one of the reasons of parting ways with Gladbach. However, Lucien Favre’s side itself stands a decent chance of qualification into the next season’s Champions
League by finishing in the top four this term.
The last season’s relegation contenders are currently third in the league standings with 47 points, eight points behind current leaders Borussia Dortmund.
