It was Reus’ first start for the national side which unfortunately ended in a loss. However, the attacker is determined to prove his worth in front of Joachim Low and wants to book his berth to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032 for the upcoming
European championships in June.
While talking to sports website, Goal.com, the attacker further added:
"For my first start I had envisioned something different. Now I have to put my foot on the gas and offer my best to the coach."
Reus stated that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 were aiming for a win against the 1998 World Champions but unfortunately could not live up to the fans’ expectations. Die Mannschaft went in without five of their first team regulars who opted out due to

The attacker believes that Germany will become extremely hard to beat once they are at full strength. The youngster is feeling confident ahead of the big event and tips Die Mannschaft as one of the favourites to win the competition.
"We wanted to win the game against France, of course, that was our goal. It was almost the last game before the summer. Of course, we then have a training camp and just before the Euro starts a couple of games. I think overall
we are on the right track,” Reus added.
On the other hand, the former Rot Weiss Ahlen star wants to lead his current club into the next season’s UEFA Champions League. He mentioned that all his focus currently lies with the Foals who are sitting third in the league standings
and still in contention to win this year’s Bundesliga.
“I am now concentrating only on Borussia Monchengladbach. The rest I cannot affect for now," he concluded.
The Foals are currently five points behind current leaders, Borussia Dortmund, and will next be in action against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FC-Nuremberg-c38162 on Sunday, March 04, at the easyCredit-Stadion.
