The midfielder believes that the presence of Carlo Ancelotti at the helm will help him become a better player.
While talking to reporters, Verratti stated that he is lucky to be playing under the tutelage of such an experienced coach, who has won so much in his career.
The youngster added that the former Milan manager has been really nice to him ever since he arrived at Parc des Princes, and the 53-year-old is like a father figure to him.
Verratti revealed that players feel comfortable in talking to the boss, whether it’s something related to football or personal.
"My primary aim is to do what Carlo Ancelotti says. He gives me so much advice, off the field too. He is like a father to me and is a really great person; I will be grateful for the rest of my life for the chance he has given me."
Talking about his time with Paris Saint-Germain, the Italian admitted that he never thought he would be playing so many games for the Parisiens so early in his career.
Verratti has thanked the club supporters for the way they have welcomed him, and is looking forward to meeting their expectations.

The 19-year-old added that he still needs to improve a lot in order to cement his place in Carlo Ancelotti’s starting eleven, and he can’t afford to let the pressure of playing for a big club affect him in any way.
"One or two good games are not enough, when it comes to the press though I am lucky as I don't know French. I am taking lessons but the road is long."
