The Dolphins' directors had a meeting with the midfielder and his agent, and have revealed that they have taken the midfielder off the market.

The two giants of Italian football were in close contention to acquire the services of the budding star, and reportedly offered the owners everything from loan deals to swap proposals.
The Delfini playmaker is widely being regarded as the next Andrea Pirlo, and was a hot candidate on the shopping list of Antonio Conte for the next season.
However, Verratti has declared today his decision to not to leave Pescara in their first season following their promotion to Serie A.
The Delfini midfielder pointed out that he has a contract with the Biancazzurri, and he intends to respect it.

Pescara have also released a statement on their official website, revealing that the club directors met with the young playmaker and his agent, and have mutually decided to keep the player at the Dolphins.
The statement also highlighted that Verratti’s desire to stay with the outfit and respect his contract, was central to forming the decision about the midfielder’s future.
“This morning the directors of Pescara met with Marco Verratti and his agent. In this meeting the player confirmed his desire to stay with the Biancazzurri, having renewed his contract in January that will tie him to the side for another four years."
The press release concluded with an official announcement that the Delfini has decided to take Marco Verratti off the summer transfer market.
