The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder is enjoying his time with Les Parisiens and wants to help the club become the best in the world
The 19-year-old arrived from Italian club Pescara last summer, for a fee believed to be in the region of 10 million Euros. And at that time, not many expected the youngster to have such an impressive impact so early in his PSG career.
However, the teenager has been impressive for the capital club so far and was instrumental in the Parisiens’ first Champions League win in eight years.

Verratti said that he is just 19 and he never imagined to be here. However, the player is confident that he can cope with the expectations of a being a big club player, and is looking forward to help his side achieve their targets this season.
"It's a dream come true. I didn't expect to be here at the age of 19 but I'm very happy and I'll do everything to show people that I'm already good enough to play alongside great players.”
While talking about senior players in the team, the former Pescara man said that even training with such players is amazing, and he hopes to learn a lot from these players.
“Training with them is already very exciting, and I believe I will learn a lot from these guys."
Talking about Paris Saint-Germain’s objectives this season, the native of Manoppello said that the PSG project is really amazing and the aim of the club is to become the best in the world.
"Our aim is to become the best team in the world. It's a big project that any player would love to be part of. We have to follow Carlo Ancelotti's instructions and if we do that, we can go a long way."
Paris Saint-Germain entertain FC Sochaux at Parc des Princes this Saturday, in their next game of the 2012/2013 Ligue 1 campaign.
