The highly-rated Pescara starlet is on the verge of joining the cash-laden French outfit much to the displeasure of Juventus and Napoli according to Italian media
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly on the verge of securing a move for highly-rated Italian playmaker Marco Verratti. The youngster splashed on the stage last season for Italian side Pescara. The 19-year-old’s performances were the main reason why the side
won promotion back to Italian Serie A football.
Dubbed as the new Andrea Pirlo, Verratti’s performances have not gone unnoticed either. The likes of Juventus, Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain have been monitoring the youngster’s progress for a long time.
However, it appears that it is PSG who have won the race for the teenager’s signature with Italian media suggesting that the player is close to securing a move to Parc des Princes.

Certainly, Italian media is disappointed to see the league not able to hold on to one of its brightest talents.
Many people believe that the transfer has materialised way too soon for Verratti. Reports claim that PSG have agreed to pay Pescara 11 million euros plus four million euros in future bonuses for the player who will earn a net salary of 1 million euros per
year.

The AC Milan defender had apparently signed for PSG but the San Siro giants’ owner, Silvio Berlusconi intervened.
Though nothing has been formalised yet, Verratti’s agents are very impressed with PSG’s project and admit that they have been given time to think about the move by Ancelotti and co.
