The 20-year-old has rubbished speculation linking him with a move away from the Paris giants and the player is enjoying every single moment of his career with the French club
Recent reports in France claimed that PSG’s summer acquisition is a target for Italian giants, Juventus, and the midfielder is open to a move back home. However, Verratti has denied such reports and has assured that his future lies in Paris.
While talking to reporters, the former Pescara man stated that he has no intentions of leaving the capital club and he is more than happy here. The player added that at first, he wasn’t sure about moving to France, but playing for a team like Paris Saint-Germain
is hard to turn down at such young age.
"I have absolutely no intention of leaving Paris. At the start I wanted to stay in Pescara, but when an offer like this came in, it just couldn’t be turned down by me or by the club. It's a dream to have an experience like this at the age of 19."
The 20-year-old has become a regular starter in Carlo Ancelotti’s side and has earned a huge amount of plaudits in the wake of some impressive performances in PSG colours. And the midfielder is pleased with how quickly he has settled at Parc des Princes
and is pleased with his progress.
"It wasn't easy at the beginning, but the last few wins have shown we're becoming a real team."
When asked about if he will consider moving back to Italy in the future, Verratti stated that at the moment, he is perfectly fine in Paris. However, he can consider moving back to his native country in the future.
"Will I return to Italy? Yes, it can certainly happen.”
The Paris Saint-Germain midfielder added that he is a PSG player at the moment and he sees no reason to depart. He would love to move back to Italy one day but the player feels that now is not the time to ask such questions.
