And Van Basten was completely satisfied with his side’s display until the half-time break.
“We put in a decent first-half performance”, the 48-year-old tactician was quoted as saying to the media in the post-match press conference.

“We threw men forward and took advantage of the space between the lines. PSV have quality and numbers in midfield. I think we made it too easy for them in the final fifteen minutes, but we kept fighting until the final whistle”, Van Basten concluded.
Heerenveen have dropped down to 13th spot in the league standings following the defeat on Eredivisie matchday 12. They will take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/RKC-Waalwijk-c40370 in their next Eredivisie game on November 17.
