The former Ajax and AC Milan player heaped praise on Filip Djuricic following his impressive performance in the first-leg of the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round.

The Friesland outfit commenced proceedings brightly, and took the lead in the ninth minute through Filip Djuricic. The 20-year-old raced towards the penalty area before chipping the ball over the Bucuresti goalkeeper into the back
of the net.
The home side continued to assert their authority on the pitch, but failed to score any further goals until the half-time break.
In the second-half, Heerenveen resumed proceedings in the same manner, and Djuricic’s strike in the 64th minute doubled his side’s advantage. The Serbian ace collected a neat pass at the edge of the box, and unleashed
a powerful effort that found the top left corner of the net.
Five minutes later, Marten de Roon added another to make the score-line 3-0 in favour of the hosts while http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Fazli-c32348 scored his side’s fourth goal of the evening only a minute before the full time whistle.
Despite winning the first-leg 4-0, Van Basten has urged his troops that they should not take the return leg lightly, and must put in their 100 percent to progress to the next phase of the competition.
The two sides will meet in the second-leg at National Arena Bucharest on August 9.
“I am still not entirely assured. We have a very young team, and we should take the return leg very seriously”, the 47-year-old tactician was quoted as saying to Nusport.nl.
The Dutchman went on to praise the Serbian international’s performance, who netted a brace to help his side cruise to an easy win.
“Djuricic is always looking to score goals. You will find him always near the penalty area. He is not big and strong, not a target man, but he can be very dangerous from the No. 9 position”, Van Basten concluded.
