Brazilian right-back, Marcos Ceara is apparently not happy with the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti at Paris Saint-Germain as he feels that the AC Milan manager is ignoring him despite good performances in practise
An outstanding coach, a fine man manager and putting players under his spell, this is what Carlo Ancelotti has done since his arrival as the new coach of Paris Saint-Germain.
His former protégés like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Florent-Malouda-c13838 have always said how good Ancelotti is when it comes to handling oversized egos in a football team. So far, in Paris, this charm seems to have been tailored for everyone and even those
who have no future at the club like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Guillaume-Hoarau-c15332.
However, there is still a man in the squad who is singing a different tune. While talking to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marcos-c23772 Ceara had his say on the arrival of Ancelotti.
The arrival of the Italian tactician has not been a great news for the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Internacional-c39573 man and for good reason.
Under Antoine Kombouare, Ceara made 15 appearances for Les Parisiens. However, since the arrival of the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 manager, Ceara’s luck has changed.
The 31-year-old has now become third choice behind Milan Bisevac and Jallet.
Ceara admits that he might not be the player Ancelotti wants but says that he is working really hard to work things out. The Brazilian feels that things are quickly changing at the club but said that he will fight for his place until the end.
However, there is also a hint of pessimism coming from the Brazilian as he also says that even if he works hard in training, nothing will change because Ancelotti doesn’t want to play him.
“I expect it to come from him. I will not go see it. He’s the coach, it is for him to talk to me. I just want him to tell me what I have to do to have a chance in the team.”
However, Ceara admits that his age is also a reason why he might never become an integral part of PSG in the future.
“I’m thirty one years old, I know I’m on the downhill. I’m nearing my 200th game for PSG and it is not something common. After Rai, I am the Brazilian who played so many games here. I have always fought and given my all for the shirt.”
Since joining Les Parisiens in the summer of 2007, Ceara has made 190 appearances for PSG and with him nearing the twilight of his career, Ancelotti might not consider keeping the player when the summer transfer window opens.
