Western Australia dominated day-two of their Sheffield Shield match against Queensland being played at Perth.
The hosts ended the day with 241 runs for the loss of just three wickets. However, they were still nine runs behind the first innings score of Queensland.
The wicket at Perth had bounce in it, but the batsmen did not have much difficulty in facing the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Queensland-c834 bowlers on Friday. The main concern for the home team was that their batsmen scored their runs at a very slow pace.

His wicket brought star batsman Michael Hussey at the crease, who was left out of the Australian squad for the ICC World Cup 2011. However, the veteran player has fully recovered from his injury, and he is looking forward to making a surprise entry to the
mega event following an injury to fast bowler Doug Bollinger.
Even though Hussey started the innings well, he was unable to make a big impression. The stylish left-hander was dismissed after scoring just 19 runs. He would have liked to score a big one in order to impress the Australian selectors.
Captain of the home team Marcus North came out to bat, following the departure of Hussey. However, North failed to trouble the opponents, as he was dismissed after just adding 8 runs to the total.
Western Australia were 161 for the loss of three wickets and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Adam-Voges-c925 walked out in the middle alongside opener Harris, who was looking good in the middle.
The pair constructed an 80-run partnership for the fourth wicket, and took their score closer to the first innings total of the visitors.
Harris made 133 runs from 342 balls and was unbeaten at close of play. He got good support from Voges, who was not out on 38 off 90 balls, when the umpires called the day off.
The home team will be looking to bat only once in this match. However, they will need to score some quick runs on Saturday to get a result out of this game.
The Queensland bowlers had a tough day, but their captain James Hopes was the pick of the bowlers who took two wickets for his team.
