Marcus Thames or Jim Edmonds?

I need to pick up an OF'er....who should I go with?

Hmmm, tough one.  Thames does have an advantage that he's eligible for two positions OF and 1B (in Yahoo leagues).

Edmonds seems more well-rounded - getting some stats in categories Thames doesn't have, but only slightly (1 triple, 2 SBs).  But his average is horrible.  Thames is your stereotypical pure power hitter: good power numbers, no SBs, high Ks.

So I guess based on position eligibility and power numbers I'd go with Thames.   Also somewhat depends on if you are in roto vs. head-2-head leagues, and what specific stat categories you care about.  Tough call.  Good luck.
