"It helps a great deal in boosting up a player’s confidence”, said Fish. “I have struggled a great deal to reach there and show my tennis flair to the entire tennis world. It feels great now and it even better to return in Atlanta. I enjoy playing on the hard courts in the United States of America”.
During his six minutes conversation with the media personnel’s, Fish on a variety of occasions highlighted that it was the best moment for the Americans. When Americans are playing on clay courts, they ponder over the grass surfaces, Fish added. On the other hand, when they are contesting on grass courts, they continually talk about the hard ones. In his view, the conversion isn't dreadfully hard.
"In my opinion, it's a simple transition to make," said Fish on turning from grass to hard surfaces. "It's not exceptionally, comfortable to shift on those surfaces. The clay is quite greasy and the grass is hard to get your footing n every single occasion. It's better to be on a definite footing court."
The manner in which Fish tackled Ward in straight sets makes it clear that he has already managed the transformation. However, Fish is fully aware of the fact that there is yet a lot to be done. He has been trying extremely hard to improve his service game in general and his very first serve in particular. It all proved in yesterday’s match as well.
"I believe that I am a destructive style player. For me to exhibit my best tennis I require extra points on my serve,"Fish who gained almost eighty four percent of his first serve points, commented. "For that to occur, it supports to make your very first serve".
