The Napoli attacking midfielder has stated that the Partenopei will be amongst a host of clubs challenging for the Scudetto; while commenting on his future at the club.
The Neapolitan outfit have gone from strength to strength in the years following their promotion to the Serie A, and their ambitions have been echoed by their star player, Marek Hamsik.
Hamsik has gone on to state that his club will be looking forward to making their mark on Italian football, and get back to winning the Scudetto, to add to the ones they have already won.

However, the highly gifted player went on to state that Napoli have consistency to account for, and the club is stable, as the manager has been at the club for the past 4 years. Staying with a club for 4 years is like an eternity in the Italian league. There
would be hardly any manager in the current clubs of the Serie A, who has been at the same club for more than three years.
Hamsik feels that the Diavolo will be highly competitive despite the fact that they have parted ways with two of their best players in the Lega. He went on to state:

Concerning his future at the club, Hamsik went on to remark:
“I’ve been here for six years, but I’m content. Lavezzi is a great player and a great friend, but I’m happy here and I’m staying. I signed a new contract because I have everything that I need at Napoli – including unique fans. Being happy is the most important
thing as a footballer.”
Napoli lifted the Coppa Italia last season, beating the Scudetto winners in the Italian Cup final.
