Marek Hamsik expresses his affection for Napoli and wants to remain with the club for many years
Napoli midfielder, Marek Hamsik, has dismissed rumours of an imminent move to Italian Champions, A.C Milan, and expresses his love for the Azzurri.
Hamsik has been heavily linked with a move to San Siro throughout the summer but Napoli owner, Aurelio De Laurentiis, out-priced Milan for a move. Laurentiis slapped a 100-million-Euros price tag on the Slovakian to ward off interest from Massimiliano Allegri’s side.
Hamsik himself at one point admitted that he wants to move to Milan and his time with Napoli has come to an end. However, the 23-year-old has made a huge U-turn by stating that he never wanted a move away from Stadio Olimpico Rome and is happy at the club.
The former Brescia star distanced him from everything that took place in the past two months and revealed that he does not know about anything. Hamsik said: “Over the last two months I was at home in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Slovakia-c3007 and didn’t even have the internet at my disposal. I stayed away from everything. Milan? I never let the reality of Napoli out of my sights. I’m focused on Napoli and the new season ahead."

The attacking midfielder rejected talks of change in representative and confirmed that Juray Venglos is sill his agent. Hamsik was really influential in guiding his team to finish third in the Serie A table and qualify for the Champions League after 21 years.
The midfielder scored 13 goals from 49 appearances in all competitions in the 2010/11 campaign.
