The Partenopei midfielder maintains that Napoli have no financial problems thanks to the prudence of Aurelio De Laurentiis; suggests his solution to avoid the recurring problem of late payment of salaries.
Marek Hamsik has reflected on the healthy financial position of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003, and has attributed their monetary stability to the Azzurri President’s skilled management.
The Partenopei are among the few sides in Serie A that have whole-heartedly subscribed to the financial fair-play rules as chalked out by UEFA, and have still managed to exhibit a lot of promise in their performances.
Hamsik acknowledged the monetary turmoil that is starting to take hold of Italian football, but stated that the Partenopei are not among the clubs caught up in the whirlpool, thanks to the prudence of Aurelio De Laurentiis.
The Slovakian international then went on to reflect upon the relative weakness of Serie A. The Azzurri attacker acknowledged that there is an underlining need to improve the football infrastructure around the country, but maintained
that the country still boasts a lot of quality.
The Azzurri midfielder added that the problem of delayed salary payments is gaining momentum in Italian football, and stated that the federation needs to take prompt actions to ensure that the players are paid their compensations
on time.
Hamsik suggested that a good idea will be to deduct the points of the clubs that delay the dues to their players, and insisted that such a regulation will help the footballers whose wages are not paid for months at times.
The 24-year-old, while addressing his fans on his official website said:
“Napoli doesn’t have financial problems because our President is well organised. I think Serie A still has a lot of quality. Of course, we need to modernise stadiums. Then, there are serious problems such as late payments of wages.
A player cannot go without being paid for three months. If such a thing happens, the club should have points deducted from the standings.”
The Slovakian aggressor also went on to extol the Azzurri President for his efforts towards building a sturdy squad at the Naples outfit, which has allowed them to beat the likes of Juventus in the Coppa Italia final.
