Olympique de Marseille president, Vincent Labrune, is keen to keep coach Didier Deschamps at the club for at least one more season. The French tactician, is not happy at the club and is looking to leave the Rhone side when the current campaign ends.
Things have certainly not gone according to plan for Deschamps whose team is languishing in 10th place in the Championnat and will be missing out on next season’s edition of the UEFA Champions League. Furthermore, the former Juventus manager does
not enjoy a great relationship with sporting director Jose Anigo.
The duo’s fiery relationship has been well-documented over the course of the current campaign.
Now, it is the turn of owner Margarita Louis Dreyfus to talk about how the club’s situation makes her feel. Louis Dreyfus is upset to see how the current campaign will end for Les Phoceens but has said that she will be looking to do whatever she can to hold
on to Didier Deschamps.
Reports claim that Louis Dreyfus is not pleased to see how the Anigo-Deschamps conflict has gone out of the club’s premises and is not sure if the club will invest on new players heavily this summer.
Even by getting excellent transfer fees for the departures of players, Marseille might not be able to invest several millions on players. Le Provence claims that Louis Dreyfus wants Jose Anigo to sign only those players who are out of contract. Certainly
this won’t be enough to bring optimism to the fans.

the moment.
