Margarita Louis-Dreyfus has no desire to sell Olympique de Marseille – Ligue 1 news

Following the rumours escalating about the selling of Les Phoceens, MLD has turned out to quell the rumours. In a recent interview to Marseille’s official website, she was quoted saying, “I have no desire to sell the club, I like OM and the city of Marseille
and I hope to stay here much longer.”
The Russian businesswomen had visited the training centre of Stade Velodrome to show concern about the poor performance of Marseille in the 2011/12 Ligue 1 Championelle. The Rhone club have only managed to win one game in 10 matches of Ligue 1.
Currently placed 15th in Ligue 1 standings, Les Phoceens are facing more than just a threat from the relegation zone. Marseille have nearly exhausted their financial resources leading to the rumours of Margarita selling the club. “Today the situation
is complicated and I cannot leave it like that. Of course, I am free to sell tomorrow, but this kind of decision is always hard to take,” MLD told the press.
