On the rocks all of the way, unless you're somewhere tropical on vacation, or a sissy (just kidding.)  I prefer on the rocks with salt.  I use Cazadores and Grand Mariner, margarita mix, ice, and salt the rim.

Had Margarita in the bed, on the stairs, in a field and on the beach......not had her on the rocks yet, but I'll give it a go.

Hopefully not frozen.....a warm balmy night would be best.......and I guess I MAY be a little salty for her, but hey, she loves me, right? ;o)
