Margarita island,, investing in property for my retirement

would like anyones oppinons on this island.. anyone been there, whats it like? cost of living> crime rate etc; etc;

I've been to Margarita island three times. l really like the place. Now investment wise, l can't help you but l will say this.

Margarita island is like most places in the world, and yes crime there is a factor. The place has a rundown sort of appearance and rain is rare. Apart from that, it has it's appeal (which is why l went 3 times).
