Cintron possibly was happy.  

If the best fighter from where I live could not defeat the same fighter I lost to, I would have a sense of relief knowing that I lost to a worthy opponent.

I don't think Cotto should fight Cintron.

I'd rather see him fight a bunch of other welterweights out there.  I see Cotto actually outboxing Cintron and breaking down Cintron with body shots.  I still don't understand why he didn't try it against Margarito.

An immediate rematch with Margarito is out of the question.  A 2nd lost to soon would devastate Cotto's career.  He should take it easy for a while, and work his way to a rematch.  I'd like to see Cotto move on to world class trainers, and see what more he can improve on, if there is anything.

i beleive cotto handles anybody else but margo easily if margo didnt have the immense heart chin and punch he would have lost but he does and he won ONE MORE FOR MEXICO!!!!! lol hahaha but cotto handles cintron (ko by body punch) and beats paull williams (ud points)

Kermit seemed to be behind Cotto all the way, right? I think the steroids question apparently is being discussed. If that may have helped Margarito's stamina or strength, then who knows if --after revising the rules-- Miguel Cotto wins the fight in the end.

i have said for awhile Cintron can beat Cotto as can Williams and will have nothing to do with Steriods (HAHA) but i have been hearing nothing but sore losers since Cotto got TKOed...Cintron is a heavier puncher than Cotto and was more willing and able to go toe to toe with Margarito than Cotto ever will.... If Margarito was on steriods then Cotto was on a track team with all the running he did...  IF cintron and cotto fight i have Cintron by decision and to Knockdown Cotto at least once in 12 rounds..  And to those who laugh at that sound just like the ones who laughed when i said Margarito would KO Cotto and have Cotto running the whole fight, remember the experts said Cintron had better punching power than TOny.... but both guys off loses to Margarito in a jammed packed division would be a great eliminator and i would pay to watch ... Cotto may even stand in there for a few rounds for a change
