  3. i knew it

i ******* knew it. my body margarito was gonna do it. everyone, i mean everyone had him pegged to lose and cotto to win, some even had cotto knocking out the tornado.

but i knew margarito was going to win by TKO/KO. he is just too much. a granite chin.

i was watching the fight by espn live blog and that t**d favored cotto the whole fight. it looked alike a shutout.

    score another one for mexico.

  4. Dude that fight was the most awsome fight I've seen all year. But the guy in the third fight had heart azteca I think it was. Yeah he had a will to win he did'nt go down once.

  5. I don't have cable so the only place carrying the fight in my area was a strip club.  I must be getting old because the girls doing pole dances annoyed me when they kept getting in the way of the tv sets.  Could I be g*y?  One girl came up to me and tried to rub her b***s in my face and that really bothered me.  I was there to see the fight!

And what a fight it was!!!

I've been a Margarito man all the way but the first half of the fight had me thinking Cotto was going to give him a boxing lesson.   Cotto had much quicker hands and feet and practically pitched a shutout through the first half of the fight.  Margarito, however, never stopped coming forward and throwing punches.  He got hit with some very hard looking shots that would have put down a lesser man, but not him.  I think Cotto, much like Cintron in his 2 fights with Margarito, got discouraged when his punches seemed to have no effect on Antonio.  After the midpoint of the bout the tide seemed to turn in Margarito's favor.  All that pressure he put on Cotto started to pay off.  Make no mistake, Cotto is a terrific, much improved fighter, but Margarito is powerful, practically indestructible, and relentless.  Once Cotto went down in the 11th round I knew he couldn't win the fight.  Even if he was able to pull himself together and finish the fight Margarito was going to own the last 2 rounds and win the decision.  Turns out Cotto's corner wisely threw in the towel.  Cotto has nothing to be ashamed of.  He just fought someone with a cast iron jaw, the heart of a lion, and a relentless fighting style.

Margarito is the Man.  By the way, this could very well be the Fight of the Year.
