Margarito called out De La Hoya for next bout... who's your pick?

I am gonna have to go with De La Hoya because (believe it or not) he just keeps surprising me. When I think he's not gonna do it, he does it.

I'm going to have to go with Margarito. He beat cotto and everybody thought cotto was going to beat him. De La Hoya lost to LIL floyed mayweather jr I doubt his going to do any better against margarito, After he beats de la hoya and another big name in boxing mayweather will come out of retirement and fight margarito for that big payday

Not now, If Cotto did not KO Margo, Oscar is not going to try. Read my lips (my keyboard) Oscar is not going to fight Margo, he already gave a reason (does not make sense) why Oscar is not going to fight Margo. Oscar learned something from Floyd, When to run and when to hold.

i will go for de la hoya by UD because since it's his last bout of his career he will give it his all, but if oscar wins and takes margos belt who will oscar fight next? he is not going to retire with a belt right?

Who was the last fighter that Old DLH surprised?  

I think he surprised Sturm and the entire boxing community when he won the fight that set up his (non) fight with BHop.

Let me put is in plain and simple language.  DLH is SO shot that he has resorted to trying to fight a fighter who is 3 weight classes smaller than he is so he can end his career with a win.

Margo would destroy DLH.  No way no how does DLH win.  He does not have the heart of a champion, and his skills left him a long time ago.  All you have to do is look at his record since 2000, and you will know.  AND 2000 was a LONG time ago.  Understand?

Margarito is the pick here, in the second half of fights he pumps it up and pressure you like no other fighter in the world, oscar usually fades down the stretch so i would think that the first 4 or 5 rounds would be oscar holding off margarito with his jab and boxing then by round 6 margarito pressures de la  hoya , and if cotto couldnt stop margarito de la hoya wont come close, i think margarito will win by stoppage most likely with a body shot or a cut which stops the fight, but this fight isnt going to happen because de la hoya will face manny pacqaou b/c he is scared too fight margaito and risk serious injurry so margarito will opt to fight clottey or paul williams most likely clottey.

this fight aint happening. oscar is fighing floyd. oscar would never step in the ring with a dangerous opponent like tony.

This fight is not going to happen. There is no way in h**l DLH wants anything to do with Margarito.

But if it were to happen, I really don't understand the reasoning behind people picking DLH to win. What can DLH do to stop the tornado? He doesn't have the quickness and slickness to dodge punches like cotto did in the beginning, and he definitely does not have the stamina.

If he tries to engage, he will be destroyed. There is absolutely nothing DLH can do to nullify the 100 plus punches Margarito would throw.

All that being said, no one knows this better than DLH himself, hence the reason he won't fight him. His lame excuse that it would not be fair to Paul Williams proves it.
