Margarito shames Oscar!!! What excuse will Oscar use next?

I gotta give credit to the homie Whiteshadow on here for finding this article and it basically makes Oscar looks stupid in his reasons for not fighting Margarito! Peep this:

I would love to see this fight and I know all the mexicans would love to see this fight.  But honestly, Margarito is not as dangerous as one of De La Hoya's opponents that he lost to, Hopkins, so he has not been avoiding fights up to this point.  But knowing osar is not the same oscar, he knows beating margarito will be his toughest challenge.  But to me, I believe he will not be knocked out by margarito, he may get the decision or margarito may get the decision.  It's a great fight and I believe oscar can stay in the ring with margarito for all 12 rounds.

I love the article because It's mostly just there to inspire DLH to fight Margarito.

It would certainly be a great fight, and I think with this latest talk, DLH must absolutely fight Margarito to secure his legacy. He was clearly expecting Cotto to beat Margarito, which is probably why he said he would face the winner.

I quite like both De La Hoya and Margarito, though, so I'm not sure which one I would root for.

The only reason Margarito wants to fight de la Hoya is for the money. Why doesn't he look for a rematch with Williams, or Cotto. Maybe look for another title with Clotty (who would have won the fight if it wasn't for his broken hand) or Berto.

Anyway Oscar can beat Margarito, he's just as tall, more skillful, faster, can hit and can take a good punch, he has it all. He just looking for a good money fight to retire.

I agree, he is making too many excuses now. I remember one of those excuses was how Margarito is not a big enough name and this will not bring in as much PPV ratings. Well Sergio Mora is no where near as famous as Margarito is now. I'm just wondering what De La Hoya's response will be. If he does respond to this.

well Margarito is just become a star now and no one gave a f**k what he said 2 months ago... what ever he said or say now is only because he wants to fight remember Oscar is a 6 weight world champion PPV smasher but is not as good as he was some fans will not no this at 36 is not any were like he was but i still think he has a big fight next....

now boxers are cowards only stupid girls say this and so called boxing fans...But there is one thing is Oscar still good enough to go 12Rd's? if not why fight him in his last fight? Or if he is being made to look stupid why set this Margarito up for life if he is trying to put you down..would you want  to put $60 mil in his bank..when any one puts Oscar name on here there so many answers.. i hope he has got one big fight in him but

I honestly could care less who Oscar fights, he is a business man now and not a fighter, he is going to take an opponents thats makes him the most money with the least risk. Thats what business men do.

After Oscar weighs his options, and if there is an out cry for DeLaHoya-Margarito and the money is there the fight will probably happen. Oscar is not going to give into pressure or antagonizing from Margarito.

Margarito wants his big pay day and Oscar knows it, Myself I've been following the sport for a long time and have watched Oscar all his career, and even though I know its not much of a challenge at this point in their careers, Id prefer to see Oscar fight Trinidad and I will tell you why.

Oscar and Trinidad has been debated for years among boxing fans about who won, why did Oscar run and the fighters them selves have traded insults back and forth. If this fight is made I guarantee that business goes out the window and both men bring their pride in the ring, Oscar to prove that he could have always beat Felix and Felix to prove that the first fight was not a fluke because Oscar took the last rounds off. Its a better fight and is a more story book way for Oscar to end his career.

The thing about Margarito-DeLaHoya is that in Oscars prime he would have beat Margarito silly, hitting him with everything but the kitchen sink. Margarito is easy to hit and has a great chin against small welterweights, but Oscar could put on the weight and would have stopped Margarito.

So at this point Oscar is not a contender anymore, hes just a big name celebrity so what does Margarito get out it except money.

So for me its the old score to settle between Oscar vs Trinidad because I believe it would be a much more competitive and good fight then people think it would be. Both guys would man up and give everything they have for this last fight.

Against Margarito Oscar would not have the same passion and would probably drop a decision to Margarito.

Id much rather see Margarito-Williams 2.. that's a real fight between the champion and the contender, that's what boxing needs, not a Margarito vs Oscar farce.
